  1. Complete an Application and submit to Polk-Burnett
  2. The application will be reviewed by Polk-Burnett to be sure all requirements for interconnection are met
  3. Once your plan is approved for interconnection, a letter of approval will be sent
  4. Once your system is installed, a bidirectional meter will be installed and tested by a Polk-Burnett employee
  5. A distributed generation agreement must be signed by both parties
