Buildings & Grounds Keeper

Polk-Burnett is seeking a full-time buildings and groundskeeper for its Centuria and Siren facilities.  Three years of general hands-on experience in custodial and maintenance work is desired.

  • Must possess a working knowledge of carpentry, electrical wiring, heating/cooling systems and plumbing. 
  • Must be mechanically inclined and basic vehicle mechanical experience is preferred. 
  • Must be self-motivated, self-directed and organized to perform the activities necessary to complete duties on a timely basis. 
  • Must possess a positive attitude and interact well with other people.
  • Working knowledge of computer use including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • A valid driver's license is required as well as a Class A commercial driver’s license or be able to obtain one in a reasonable time frame. 

As scheduled, this position reports to either Siren or Centuria facility.  Works inside or outside under various weather conditions.  Must be flexible in the arrangement of working hours as the person is expected to be available as situations warrant.  A reasonable degree of physical strength and good organizational skills are required.

Propane Delivery/Service Technician - $1,500 Sign-on Bonus!!

Polk-Burnett Propane Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time propane delivery/service technician with excellent people and communication skills for a combination of the Centuria and Siren facility.  Duties include delivery of propane, setting tanks and equipment maintenance.

No experience is necessary, we are willing to train!  Candidates must have or be able to obtain a valid CDL with a hazardous materials endorsement.  Polk-Burnett Propane offers a competitive wage and benefit package.
