Polk-Burnett's wholesale power provider is Dairyland Power Cooperative, a generation and transmission (G&T) cooperative based in La Crosse, WI. Dairyland generates electricity with traditional and renewable energy resources to provide safe, reliable and affordable electricity.
About 58 cents of every dollar we collect is used to purchase wholesale power. The balance is used for expenses to deliver power to home, including maintaining power lines, installing meters and managing your account.
