Polk Burnett Electric Cooperative is dedicated to being the leader of energy solutions for the benefit and satisfaction of our overall membership by providing reliable, safe and innovative electricity, products and services, while demonstrating a commitment to our community and employees, and a responsibility to cooperative resources and the environment.

Cooperative Membership Matters
Did you know that co-ops are owned by you, the members who receive services from them? Co-ops are accountable to local members, not distant stockholders, and members receive friendly service from local employees who care about you and the communities in which we live. More than 900 electric co-ops serve 42 million Americans. If you receive power from Polk-Burnett, you are a member-owner.

Strategic Objectives
The following strategic objectives were identified to guide the co-op’s success in serving and satisfying our members:

1. Better communicate with members and educate them about the cooperative.
2. Invest in and implement new technologies to assure quality service, reliability and competitive rates.
3. Encourage energy efficiency and conservation, support renewable energy and give members greater control of their energy use.
4. Ensure the co-op attracts, retains, develops, trains and maintains a quality workforce.
5. Maintain the financial strength of the co-op through the budgeting process, cost controls and competitive rates.
